USA Today is reporting on a poll by the Military Times that shows 60% of troops remain convinced that the war in Iraq is worth fighting, and 63% support the way President Bush is handling the war.
87% say they’re satisfied with their job in the military, and only 25% say they’d leave if given the choice. These numbers are essentially unchanged since last year. However, 66% said they felt the military was stretched too thin to be effective. This is down from 77% last year.
